Addled Hill Pottery receives many questions and here are some of the most frequently asked.
If you have a question that is not answered here, don't hesitate to contact me!
How do I care for my Susan Stone Design (SSD) pottery?

SSD is safe to put in the dishwasher, but hand-washing is best.

Is SSD pottery dishwasher safe?
It is dishwasher, microwave and of course, food safe.

How long does it take to make a mug?
From start to finish (if it was the only thing I had to make), about 2 weeks. Once it is made, it has to dry slowly and is fired twice. Each firing is about 24 hours.

What hours are you open?
I work out of my studio in my home and do not keep business hours because I live in a residential neighborhood. About twice a year, I host open studio sales. Other than the studio sales, I am happy for you to make an appointment to stop by.

Where can I purchase Susan Stone Design ceramics?
At this time, you may purchase AHP online and in my studio. I am currently looking for fine retail shops to carry my work.

Do you ship?
Absolutely! I have been shipping my pottery for years and can say, I’m serious about packing everything carefully. I use new boxes, paper, bubble wrap and usually bio-degradable packing peanuts. I will recycle any type of used packing peanuts to use again, too! Here are some more details on shipping

Do you ship internationally?
Because of the high cost of shipping pottery internationally, I rarely do it, but will consider it. Contact me if you are interested in shipping internationally.

What happens if pottery is damaged or missing in your shipment?
As soon as you realize that something is broken or missing, please notify me. I want to fix whatever is not right!

Do you do custom orders?
I do! Customers can have the best ideas! Please see my Custom Work and Orders page for details.

Do you sell wholesale?
I would love to! If you are a shop interested in carrying Susan Stone Design, please contact me
